pub enum SubprocedureRecovery {
Discard,
Detach,
}Expand description
Controls how children submitted by Status::Suspended are handled after a restart.
The policy is captured at submission and persisted with each child’s checkpoints. It does not change parent-child ownership during normal execution. A child without a persisted checkpoint cannot be recovered, regardless of its policy.
Variants§
Discard
Does not recover the child. The parent decides whether to resubmit its work. This does not roll back side effects or delete the child’s persisted records.
Detach
Resumes the child’s persisted execution or rollback as an independent root. Its original id and context are retained, but its parent link is removed. Completion no longer notifies the former parent. All eligible procedures are loaded and their recovery hooks are called before any recovered runner starts. Runner execution is not ordered relative to the former parent; callers must prevent conflicting work when the parent recovers.
